Music is scientifically proven to motivate you during a workout. And at the heart of Zumba is music. So, as the fad-like fitness world moved toward HIIT and strength training classes, Zumba saw an opportunity to do what they do best: use music to make the experience of working out an awesome, get-lost-in-the moment-one.

After years of alllll the neon and light, bright Zumba branding, it was a fun (and strategic) move to depart into a darker, “harder” look that showed the intensity of the workout and welcomed in a broader audience. But the real differentiator of the brand was the process: the music is synced to the workout, so every move has a beat and those crescendos make you feel like the star in a movie the music to the moves and make HIIT classes that
